Teaching Interests

I am interested in teaching courses in my areas of specialization, including Research Methods at different levels (basic, intermediate and advanced), Statistical Models, Political Sociology, Organization Studies, Social Inequalities, Economy and Society, and International Development. In addition, I always enjoy teaching introductory courses; the “Sociological Imagination” is the most valuable insight I’ve learned in my life and I would like to pass it to the younger generation.

Course Taught

My course sample syllabi can be found here:

The University of British Columbia – Department of Sociology

Sociology 301 – Sociology of Development

Memorial University – Department of Sociology

Sociology 1000 – Introduction to Sociology
